I’ve been using this set for a few weeks and the stoneware feels really sturdy, even after running it through the dishwasher multiple times. The plates have a nice weight to them without being too heavy, and the floral pattern adds a gentle pop of color to my table.

Gibson Home Palace Suite 16-Piece Dinnerware Set, Blue Floral Stoneware Plates & Bowls, Service for 4, Round Durable Everyday Dish Set

That matte black finish resists fingerprints way better than I expected, so the whole set still looks clean after a week of use. The mugs hold a generous 12 ounces, perfect for my morning coffee.

Gibson Home Bowery 32 Piece Matte Black Stoneware Dinnerware Plates, Bowls, and Mugs Set - Service for 8

The scalloped edges are what sold me—they give the set a handcrafted feel that plain white dishes just don't have. Glaze is a bit uneven in spots if you look close, but it matches the rustic style fine. Solid weight to the stoneware, too, and the bowls are a good size for cereal or soup.

Gibson Elite Kennon Road Plates and Bowls Set, 12-Piece Dinnerware Set, White Scalloped Stoneware Dishes, Dinner Plates, Salad Plates & Cereal Bowls, Reactive Glaze

The wax relief rim catches the light beautifully and makes the white stoneware feel way more expensive than it was. These plates have held up through daily use and the dishwasher without a single chip or fade in the pattern.

Gibson Home Chiswick House 16-Piece Stoneware Dinnerware Set, Round Plates and Bowls Set for 4, White with Wax Relief Embossed Rim Detail, Dishwasher Safe – Dinner Plate, Salad Plate & Cereal Bowl

We finally replaced our mismatched old dishes with this set and the stackability is a game-changer for our small cabinets — everything nestles neatly without wobbling. The white porcelain is crisp and clean, and having service for 8 means we’re actually ready for family dinners instead of scrambling for extra plates.
