The Pakka wood handle gives a really solid, comfortable grip, and this knife sliced through a crusty sourdough loaf without any tearing or crushing.

That serrated edge on the 1.4116 German steel cuts through a crusty sourdough like butter, no squishing or tearing the crumb at all. The full-tang build gives it a nice heft that makes each slice feel controlled, and it still looks great on the block after a month of daily use.

The pakka wood handle is really comfortable to grip, even on long baguettes, and the full-tang build gives it a solid balance that makes slicing feel effortless. It cut through a sourdough crust cleanly without crushing the crumb underneath, which is exactly what I needed.
